First You need to enable the file extensions.

Windows - 

  1. Go to the File Explorer.
  2. In the top menu click the view button.
  3. Now enable the File name extension.
  4. Now you're done. 

macOS -

Create a webpage-making interface.

  Create a new folder.
  Create a new text file and name it filename.html
  Now we are done.
